Summary of the session:
To develop a shared understanding of Autism with a pathological/extreme demand avoidant profile and explore reasons why children are demand avoidant in their thinking, learning and communication.
To explore and understand the impact of demand avoidance on the child and others, and to support related communicating behaviours.
To develop a toolkit of strategies and interventions appropriate for the management of children and young people with Autism and pathological/extreme demand avoidance
